The Restoration Process

SiteManager • Feb 04, 2018

“2018, The Year of Restoration” is really the overall theme of God’s Word, the Bible.  “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.  And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed,” Joel 2:25-27 (KJV).  The word “restore” in Joel 2:25 is from the Hebrew word “shaw-lam” and it has much more powerful implications than our English word and means to be safe (in mind, body or estate); figuratively to be (causative make) completed; by implication to be friendly; by extension to reciprocate (in various applications):- make amends, (make an) end, finish, full, give again, make good, (re-) pay (again), (make) (to) (be at) peace (-able), that is perfect, perform, (make) prosper (-ous), recompense, render, requite, make restitution, restore, reward, surely.  Therefore we see from the Hebrew definition of restore that it’s more than just restoring back to it’s original condition but to make it better than the original.  That restoration process is the hope of the Believer, the heart of God, and the destiny of the Church.  The Word of God is the roadmap to that restoration and faith is the highway.  Take away the highway and there’s no road for the restoration to travel from the Restorer to the restored.  Love is the motivation for that restoration and all that comes out of the heart of our heavenly Father.  That restoration process is revealed in the Believer as we keep open the highway of faith in our hearts.  “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God,” Rom. 12:2 (KJV).

This correspondence is an effort to communicate to all of the men of CCC who have signed up to help us prepare for the renovation of the main sanctuary of the Church. We’re pressing forward beginning the week of Monday, 4-15-24, with removing all of the sound equipment. Anyone willing to help with the removing of the sound equipment please contact bro. Johnny Asbell or Elder James Fuller. We will also move as much of the pews and furniture as possible during that week as well. If you’re interested in helping with moving the furniture, please contact Elder Glennie Jackson or Pastor Jeffery A. Muchison. Finally, the big moving day is planned for that Saturday, 4-20-21, for moving everything that we were not able to move during the week. I’m going to say we’ll meet at the Church at 9 a.m. until. The Church will have breakfast and lunch for those who help us with this project. Afterward, the contractors and Brunswick Floors will need 3-4 weeks to complete renovation of the floors and replacement of carpet in which we’re looking at the week of Monday, 5-13-24, completing the project and the men of CCC returning at the end of that week to move all of the furniture and sound equipment back into the Church’s main sanctuary. We’ll plan to complete the moving of all equipment and furniture on Saturday, 5-18-24. During renovation we will have worship services the Sundays of 4-21-24, 4-28-24, 5-5-24, and 5-12-24, at the Embassy Suites in Brunswick on the 2 nd . floor in the Palmetto room services starting at 11 a.m. This will be a tight schedule everyone since elections will be held the next week on Tuesday, 5-21-24, of which our Church is designated as one of the facilities for elections in Camden County. This project is very much needed, and I pray that everyone be patient with us for any inconvenience, but it will only be for 4 weeks and it will end with having necessary repairs completed for our sanctuary and the installation of brand new carpet. To God be the glory. In His Service, Pastor Jeffery A. Muchison Scripture for Sunday, 4-14-24 Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV) 1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Father, I pray for this country and its people and the people of all lands. It seems in my lifetime we’ve pushed you away. Forgive us Father, for we know not what we do. How can we not love you back, after hearing every loving fact, how could we not love you back? I pray for the family. It’s in the family where it all starts with learning of you. I thank you for my Christian upbringing. Thank you for family members, loved ones, Christian leaders, as well as others of like faith of whose shoulders I stand upon. Your heart must grieve at the wickedness and evil of the man you created. Man can sink low when disconnected from you. We need you O God first of all to turn it around in our own personal lives, that we, the Church, would be that beacon of hope in a dark world. I pray that our lights would shine that men would see our good works and glorify our Father which is in Heaven. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, in earth as it is in Heaven. Your Word says in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV): 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Let us not be as Ezekiel 22:30 (KJV): 30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. But even now you have many that have not bowed the knee to Baal, praise be to God! Guide our leaders O God. Give them a heart for your people, give them wisdom and strength to do what is your will for those they lead. Forgive us Lord, where we’ve come short. Strengthen us where we’re weak and keep us strong where we’re strong. I pray for men, women, and children caught in war for their protection, their needs supplied, and that the evil of war ceases. We stand in the gap for our land. In His Service, Pastor Jeffery A. Muchison Scripture for Sunday, 4-7-24 Ezekiel 22:30 (KJV) 30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. In the next several weeks the sanctuary will be undergoing renovations that will require the ministry to make adjustments to having our services somewhere other than the main sanctuary. We will keep everyone posted as to when those renovations will begin and plans for how we will proceed. 4. A blessed resurrection Sunday I pray for all CCC Partners and friends as we celebrate one of the greatest events this side of glory, the resurrection of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. The resurrection sealed the promises of God to men since the gospel rises or falls on the resurrection, 1 Corinthians 15:12-19 (KJV): 12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. 15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. 16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. The resurrection is the proof that God is who He says He is and that He will do what He said He would and for the Believer that brings us to the conclusion in Mark 11:22-24 (KJV): 22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Have faith in God. This is the hope of the resurrection, that we can trust Him at His Word and not stagger at the promises of God through unbelief; but be strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he promises, he is able also to perform. In His Service, Pastor Jeffery A. Well glory to God for all that He have done. I’m excited about the work that’s going on in the Church presently. The men’s bathroom has been completed and the women’s bathroom prayerfully will be completed next week. Then we have contractors looking at beginning work on the main sanctuary in a couple of weeks. I think the ladies will be pleasantly surprised concerning the work done in their bathroom since not only were the floors done, but there was some remodeling done on the stalls as well to give a more personal touch. The work was necessary to ensure the integrity of the flooring and we needed new carpeting anyway, so we are able to rectify multiple issues in the sanctuary. We are going to need the help of the men of the ministry as we will need to remove pews, pulpit, furniture in the choir stand, drums, P. A. system w/cords, in order that contractors and Brunswick Floors are able to access the sanctuary and complete the work at hand. Therefore, we’re giving a heads-up and asking every man to plan to help us get this very much needed work done. We will provide food and refreshments for the men that will help out with this task. Our heart is to provide the Partners of CCC with a pleasant atmosphere by which we all may experience the presence and glory of the Lord in our worship services as did the priests during the time of the dedication of Solomon’s Temple. 2 Chronicles 7:2 (KJV): 2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD'S house. To God be the glory for the things He have done. Let’s continue believing God in this season for greater. We’re going higher in the kingdom all to the glory of God. We are overcomers. God have given His Church the victory through our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus has given the called-out-ones, the ekklesia, the Church, the set-apart ones, the victory through faith. None of this would be possible without the shedding of blood. The shedding of Christ’s blood is indicative of Him giving His life that we may live. The life that Christ imparts to us is Zoe life, the life that comes from God. He gives us life and He want us to live. And not just life, but the above, the over, the super-added, and the advantageous life. The life of an overcomer is not a trouble-free life, but it is a life that overcomes all obstacles and every Euroclydon storm that it faces. In everything we are more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens us. The Holy Spirit’s power enables us with might, strength, and ability to carry on the works of Jesus and greater works than these shall we do. The greatest example of an overcomer was our Savior. He overcame Satan, death, hell, and the grave, and He rose again with all power in His hands. Yet the greatest conqueror is he who conquers himself. Proverbs 16:32 (KJV): 32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. Jesus ruled His flesh. When the devil tempted Him after 40 days and 40 nights of fasting, and Jesus was now hungry, and He said in Matthew 4:4 (KJV): 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. When Satan tempted the Lord by showing Him all the kingdoms of this world and saying, “If thou wilt fall down and worship me, all these things will I give thee.” Matthew 4:10 (KJV) : 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. We too are overcomers. In His Service, Pastor Jeffery A. As I end my series on “Thine is the Kingdom,” but not the message, I want to echo the Words of Christ, Matthew 6:10 (KJV): 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. The Lord was teaching the disciples to pray. I personally do not believe that He was teaching it to be repeated verbatim, but a model prayer teaching, not only the disciples, but us today, that we should pray for the kingdom of God to be established in the earth and that His will be done in earth as it is in Heaven. Just how do we think that His will is being done in Heaven? It’s His determination, His pleasure, His desire, His choice, and His will being done in the earth, and we should not accept anything that we know is not the good pleasure of God. At this point is where I want to be surgical about my communication because I know what I mean but I want to be sure that you understand what I mean. I’m not saying that death, sickness, poverty, lack, and all that separates us from God’s best for our lives are not real and that saints don’t suffer from these, but what I am saying is that anything that separates us from God’s best for our lives is not His will. This is what death is. It’s not just the separation of the spirit from the body, but it is separation from God’s best for our lives, period! Death is not God’s will, neither is poverty, sickness, or lack, and in His kingdom all of these will eventually be done away with, Revelation 21:4 (KJV): 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 22:3 (KJV): 3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him. In order that we maximize our potential in the earth spirit, soul, and body, we seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness. In His Service, Pastor Jeffery A. The kingdom mindset is a mind that’s stayed on the constitution of the kingdom (the Bible), and its revelation of the plans and purposes of God for man. It’s a mind that’s stayed on God, His Word, and what His Word commands us to do. The Holy Spirit is the kingdom’s Agent in carrying out God’s plans in the heart of them that believe. The revelation of the kingdom of God is so profound that can only be discerned by the help of the Holy Spirit but is the greatest heart awareness experience that any person can have in this life. Having revealed to your spirit the answer to all things in this life and why everything that’s created was created, as far as I am concerned, is the greatest privilege that any human being can have. God, the Holy Spirit, angels, Heaven, the spiritual realm, are all real, but so is Satan, demons, hell, good and evil, and the only source of truth concerning the issues of life is the kingdom of Heaven. Those of us who are citizens of the kingdom are highly favored, blessed, and privileged to be exposed to the understanding of the mysteries of life and have the opportunity to partake of the divine nature and be called the children of God, a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, to show forth the praises of Him who have called us out of darkness (ignorance) into His marvelous light. If we are to believe the constitution of the kingdom (the Bible) then we also understand that the enemy knows that his time is short and that in these last days Satan, that old serpent the devil, Lucifer, and diablos, the accuser of the brethren, is unleashing everything at his disposal against this generation that the kingdom reveals because men will not receive the truth but will receive a lie, many will be as our constitution (the Bible) reveals in Article 2 Thess. section 2, sub-section, 10: 2 Thessalonians 2:10 (KJV): 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Luke 2:49 (KJV): 49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? I sympathize with Joseph and Mary for their concern about the young Jesus. It’s what any good parent would do, but even at the age of 12, Jesus was focused on the business of the kingdom. The pandemic had an unwelcomed effect on the Church as well as businesses, governments, schools, etc. Now we’re passed the worst of it, though Covid has become another virus that we’re forced to reckon with. CCC has been blessed to have come through that ordeal and learned from it and now it’s time that we, and the rest of the world, be as the young Jesus was and be about our Father’s business, the business of establishing His kingdom in the earth. Daniel 2:44 (KJV): 44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Revelation 11:15 (KJV): 15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. We’re closer than we’ve ever been to these events, yet even many Christians live like the Bible’s not true and we’re going to continue on in this life just like what we are doing. Actually, that’s one of the signs of the end times. Luke 17:26-29 (KJV): 26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Remaining strong during challenging times can be a challenge within itself. It’s not always that a person is weak, but when you’re in constant spiritual warfare and even finding yourself around very negative people who constantly spew doubt and unbelief out of their mouths then it will affect you. Regardless of how long you’ve been saved, or what your title is, or how far up the ladder you’ve climbed, you’re still in a body made out of flesh and blood. It’s a blessing when you have good support around you who will be there for you through thick and thin. The most important relationship though is your personal relationship with the Lord. If no one else will be faithful to you then just be encouraged that God will never leave you nor forsake you but will be with you until the end of the world. We pray and believe God and then we boost our faith with praise, affirmation, and confession of the promises of God concerning our personal situation. Then sometimes we need to be honest with ourselves because God already knows what we need, and confess to the Lord that we’re being challenged in our faith and that we need His help and of course we have His Spirit within who will be a present help in the time of need. Just be honest with God as we all should and don’t think that you’re alone in this. I know I personally confess to God whenever I find myself in tense spiritual warfare and being overwhelmed with emotions, and your mind being inundated with the wrong kind of thoughts, and He always come through for me. I may have to get to myself and not be around anyone, especially those who don’t understand the nature of spiritual warfare and that it requires prayer and reigning in that mind to the glory of God and the soldier that thinks that they’re exempt from this kind of experience is not being honest. That’s my personal opinion. In His Service, Pastor Jeffery A. Muchison Scripture for Sunday, 2-18-24 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV) 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Philippians 3:13-14 (KJV): 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling (upward call) of God in Christ Jesus. The upward call from Heaven is calling us to come up higher in the kingdom. A higher call of faith. An upward call of prayer. A higher call to worship, spiritual warfare, love, holiness, confession, praise, commitment, faithfulness, witness, power, His character and, in general, a closer walk with Him. Every child of the King should sense an urgency in the realm of the spiritual, and in particular, the spiritual kingdom of God, where the King has dominion. He’s King of kings and Lord of lords. He’s calling His redeemed, the Church, the ekklesia, the called out ones, kings and lords. It’s about time for the Church to act like kings and lords. Jesus called us that. I’m just repeating what the Lord said. Revelation 19:16 (KJV): 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. Hallelujah king! Hallelujah lord! Receive it! Let that marinade in your spirit. We as Believers have listened too much to what the accuser of the brethren is calling us when we must get off the frequency that the devil is on and get on, and stay on, the frequency that God is on. Don’t be caught on AM when God is on FM. The upward call from Heaven calls to us, the body of Christ, to be about our Father’s business as Christ was when He walked this earth. No more shucking and jiving and lollygagging. It’s our time now, the age of the Church and the Spirit to be in this great move of God in transforming our world into the kingdom of our God. Revelation 11:15 (KJV): 15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
