Today is the first Sunday of a new chapter in all of our lives and as CCC continues it’s 21 Day Consecration may the Lord open up to you the plans and purposes of God future for your life. The Apostle Paul said in Philip. 3:13, 14 (KJV): 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. In this life we will face test, trials, tragedies, disappointments, etc., and we ought to have our priorities right as did the Apostle Paul, and make God first in our lives so that when those times come, we will not be destroyed. It may hurt us, but it will not destroy us. This month of January we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and in February we celebrate black history month and great sacrifices were made that black people, and many whites as well, benefited from. It’s a time of reflection as well as personal soul searching to examine our own personal contribution for the cause of all men to enjoy the freedoms endowed by our Creator. The greatest of these being the freedom to worship God as we see fit. The Church has been front and center of the Civil Rights movement and continues to be so today. Keeping God first has been the key to what successes we have seen over the years. Keeping Him first in our personal lives is key to our own personal successes as well. We cannot forget where our help comes from. Our help comes from the Lord who made Heaven and Earth. Prayer, prayer, and more prayer as we give the first-fruits of our time during our 21 Day Consecration and as we obey scripture to acknowledge God in all of our ways and He will direct our paths. 2024 will be a year of going higher in the kingdom all to the glory of God. I’m believing God for a year of fruitfulness in the ministry as well as in our personal lives for needs as well as relationships as well. Also, that God would heal our land, our people, and our planet, that all men would come to the saving knowledge of the truth. To God be the glory!
