First of all, thank you Partners for the phone calls, cards, texts, and for just taking the time to reach out to First Lady and myself during my stay in Southeast Ga. Health System week before last. Your prayers, kindness, and love were and are very much appreciated and, as I always say, First Lady and I don’t take for granted the time taken out to show us love. From our hearts to yours, we appreciate it. The week before last was my test and with the help of the Lord we passed our test with flying colors, but it also is an opportunity for me to encourage each Partner of this ministry to be diligent concerning your total person, spirit, soul, and body. Take good care of your total person. One of the things that helped me through that ordeal was having regular check-ups and Dr.’s visits so that they used previous information to help diagnose the attack against my body and I was released from the hospital sooner because of it. Take care of you because I don’t care how spiritual we are, we’re still in bodies made out of flesh and blood. Keep your appointments with your Dr. I know there are challenges with our health system, but I also know of some horror stories that didn’t have to be horror stories. We’ve got the victory through our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, but we have to do our part. Know this one thing, God is faithful. His Word is everlasting and we can stand on His Word, Matthew 5:18 (KJV): 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. The plans and purposes of God will be realized in our lives, to them that believe, that love God, Romans 8:28 (KJV): 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Be encouraged today. Let the Holy Spirit lead you to life, the life that He desires for you by heeding to His Word and keeping His commandments. John 6:63 (KJV): 63 It is the spirit that quickened; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
