There’s power in the name of Jesus and the enemy does not want you to know it. He also does not want you to know that he’s a defeated foe and every Spirit-filled Believer has power over all of the ability of that old serpent the devil and his imp demons (imp means small demon). But we’ve got to walk in that authority. You as a Believer must practice walking in that authority by acting on the Word of God. Put the Word in action. We’ve been given the power of attorney or the legal right to operate in the same power and authority that Jesus operated in when He walked this earth. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it,” Jn. 14:12-14 (KJV). If we have power of attorney and have authority over all of the devil’s ability then why are Christians defeated and walking in less than what the Bible declares? Well, when the disciples asked Jesus why they could not cast out the demon in the lunatic boy His answer to them in Matt. 17:20 (KJV) was, “Because of your unbelief.” In Mk. 9:23 Jesus said, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” What we believe determines what we will have. It’s in our hands as to what we receive. Mk. 11:24 says, “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” In other places , the Lord said, “According to your faith be it unto you.” Therefore if we don’t believe what God says then we won’t have what God says. There’s no failure in God! Regardless of the state we find ourselves in, all things are possible with Him. “But Jesus beheld them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible,” Matt. 19:26 (KJV). Let us as Believers take our rightful place in power and authority and do the works of Jesus and greater works than these. Keep the Vision Alive!
