“Vision is not seeing things as they are, but as they will be.” Vision is acting like where you’re going. It’s not money that limits a vision. We limit a vision with our limited thinking. I’ll take a page from the Lord’s own Words when He commissioned His disciples, early on in their time with Him, on how they were to move forward in Lk. 10:2-4 (AMPLIFIED BIBLE): “And He said to them, The harvest indeed is abundant [there is much ripe grain], but the farmhands are few. Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Go your way; behold, I send you out like lambs into the midst of wolves. Carry no purse, no provisions bag, no [change of] sandals; refrain from [retarding your journey by] saluting and wishing anyone well along the way.” Many believe that before you move forward on a vision you first have got to have everything in place, all your ducks in a row, all your i’s dotted and your t’s crossed, but in Lk. 10:2-4 Jesus sent His disciples out and basically told them to trust Him for provision and don’t get distracted while on their mission. He would make provision and the disciples’ responsibility was to stay focused on the vision that He gave them that the harvest was ripe but the laborers were few and that God would send laborers into the harvest. He knows what we have need of and He wants us to trust Him for the provision of those needs. And He will provide our needs but for us to never lose faith in God, never lose hope, and never lose sight of what He has placed into our hands. The vision is the people. “We are blind until we see, That in the human plan, Nothing is worth the making, If it does not make the man. Why build these cities glorious, If man unbuilded goes? In vain we build the world, Unless the builder also grows.”
