Many people in this age have no idea that there is a battle in the spirit realm between good and evil. The Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, reveals the reality of a world in the spirit that cannot be seen by the natural eye unless one is given the gift of the discerning of spirits which allows that person to see into the spirit realm, 1 Cor. 12:10. In the spirit realm are our enemies Satan, demons, fallen angels such as the Prince of Persia & Grecia that held up the archangel Gabriel when he delivered a message to Daniel in Dan. 10:13, 20. There also are many other angelic beings in the spirit realm, Rev. 4:6-9; Is. 6:2, 3; Ez. 1:5-14; Rev. 19:11-14. Angels, the departed dead, and of course the Godhead, all reside in a realm more real than the natural realm. Our knowledge and understanding of the principles that govern that realm will determine our success and prosperity in the natural realm. The Bible is our eyes into the spirit realm through faith. The problem in this contemporary age is that many do not believe in demons, hell, Satan, or much else concerning the spirit realm. Many Christians don’t study their Bibles or they don’t fully understand how they are to maximize both realms since God have afforded men the ability to exist in both. But Satan is a deceiver and he has been quite effective spreading seeds of doubt concerning the truth of God’s Word evidenced by the rapid decay of morality in this generation, Rom. 1:20-32. Satan blinds men to the reality of the truth so that they won’t believe and would be converted. “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them,” 2 Cor. 4:3, 4 (KJV). Sadly though, even with the revelation of God’s Word men stumble in the darkness, rejecting the lifeline of His salvation believing a lie more than the truth. “Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober,” 1 Thess. 5:6 (KJV).
