Again, First Lady and I would like to thank everyone who sowed into our lives. My son Joshua, along with his sister Rhonda, and their Mother, First Lady Sandra A. Muchison invited many of my family to help celebrate my 60 th . Birthday and it really hit home with me the importance of family. I say that from a practical standpoint. Of course we all know the importance of family, but it’s awesome to know that when you need them most, family will be there for you. I enjoyed being with my family especially since family don’t get a chance to be together as much as we would like. Father God knew what the importance of family would be. He ordained the family, but for a distinct purpose. These include companionship, fellowship, protection, and for training the children in the nurtue and admonition of the Lord. “Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord [the only Lord]. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being and with all your might. And these words which I am commanding you this day shall be [first] in your[own] minds and hearts; [then] You shall whet and sharpen them so as to make them penetrate, and teach and impress them diligently upon the [minds and] hearts of your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up. And you shall bind them as a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets (forehead bands) between your eyes. And you shall write them upon the doorposts of your house and on your gates,” Deut. 6:4-9 (Amplified Bible). Why is this so important that the revelation of God be taught from a child? Because except for few exceptions, if we don’t train our children while they’re impressionable and can be trained, the tougher it will be to convince them of Him later. Keep the Vision Alive!
