As we prepare to move into another chapter of our lives, what priority will God have in that chapter and how will we fit into His will and plans for the next chapter of our lives and not go about doing things our way. The road of life is scattered with the casualties of those who decided to do things their way apart from the will of God. But it does not have to be that way. “And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein,” Is. 35:8 (KJV). Our salvation is so much more than a Sunday worship service, a Bible study, or a Christmas program. Until we see Jesus as the example of how we as Believers should conduct our lives then we miss out on the overcoming life. “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith,” 1 Jn. 5:1-4 (KJV). God has appointed Him as the Mediator and has ordained that all blessings shall descend to this world through Him. He’s the fountain of all truth. Jesus is the answer to all human problems and the remedy is to believe. “Jesus answered him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one goes to the Father except through me,” Jn. 14:6 (GW). He is the only way to the Father, but He’s also the way that we should want to mirror, the way that we should want to follow. He’s our life. “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me,” Gal. 2:20 (KJV).
