As we near the end of CCC’s 21 Day Consecration I am also planning for the final in-person prayer this Monday, 1-17-22 from 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Again, we will be following COVID-19 protocol of wearing protective coverings, physical distancing, and temperature checks upon entrance into the main sanctuary. The prayer on last Monday, 1-8-22, had a moderate turn-out as we’re not wanting anyone to feel guilty for not attending the prayer if you’re not comfortable at this time to attend. We have been following the COVID-19 protocol diligently and are understanding of those who are not desiring to attend at this time. We are leaving the option to attend these in-person services if you so desire. We’re still asking those who are not vaccinated, immune-compromised, or those more susceptible to the COVID-19 virus to not attend services for their safety and, of course, for those who are attending to be prepared to follow all COVID-19 safety measures. These measures have not been the easiest decisions to make but are done in an honest effort to keep CCC Partners as safe as possible yet also keeping some form of normalcy to having an intimate and personal worship experience like what we enjoyed before the pandemic. As I have said to CCC Partners in the past, if I don’t believe that we can have all of the safety measures in place for any worship service that CCC may have during the pandemic, then we won’t have that service. I believe that we can as long as we follow all safety measures. I will not be having services every week but hopefully a Sunday worship service, and a Bible study worship service once monthly until we can get this virus under control, but I say that we have to learn how to safely maneuver our lives and do it safely throughout this pandemic until such a time as when we don’t have to. I want there to be options for Partners and then you can make the choice on how you want to move forward. And, in that regard, we’re working on other options as well, that may not be as intimate as an in-person worship service, but will provide another option to CCC Partners. Stay tuned.

Pastor Jeffery A. Muchison
