Praise the Lord saints of God, for the year of shifting and rearranging to the order of God. As we continue toward the full re-opening of worship services, in the month of June we’re planning to advance a bit further in that direction. In the month of June, we’ll do away with the temperature checks but will continue to wear protective masks. We’ll continue to perform minimal disinfecting and cleaning throughout the month of June. CCC Ushers and Medical Emergency Response Team who are attending worship services will continue to assist in these areas. We will have to rely on the honor system whereby we trust one another to do the right thing by not attending worship services if we are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms. This was the normal practice even before the pandemic that we respected our fellow parishioners by not exposing them to any sickness that we may have been attacked with. We’re going to be relying on that same honor system moving forward. We do see an uptick in Coronavirus in the Coastal Health District which includes Camden, Glynn, & McIntosh counties, therefore we will continue monitoring closely the numbers during the month of June. Better yet, let’s just believe God and pray this virus out of existence. Amen! Meanwhile, we’re going to be communicating with our youth leaders and begin planning the return of our youth services and the full re-opening of all areas in the ministry while we keep ourselves mindful of the pandemic situation. As we continue to trust God for divine health we will also use wisdom as we do our part in the natural realm to not give place to the devil.
