The Word of God reveals to us things past, present, & future. It gives us insight into our own generation and illuminates the path before us not allowing ourselves to be ambushed by the enemy. Our relationship with God should take priority over every other relationship in our lives because all other relationships flow from the relationship we have with Him. God has given us every good thing with our best interest at heart. His plans and purposes for our lives were before the foundation of the world. He predestined us for greatness and has set us up for success. That is the Word of God and His love is demonstrated throughout. He demonstrates His love each and every day if we would take the time to notice instead of focusing on the negative things in our lives. In my series titled “A peculiar Treasure,” the question is asked why does God call us a peculiar treasure, a peculiar people, a kingdom of priests, a royal priesthood a holy nation, a chosen generation, called out of darkness into His marvelous light? We are proof that there is a God in Heaven. We have been called from the foundation of the world to be His witnesses of His goodness, mercy, and grace. God have blessed us with all spiritual blessings and we now are the seed of Abraham, a people of faith of whom God said that all things are possible to them that believe. It’s not God’s will that any should perish, and we are part of the great commission to the rest of the world to let them know that there is the awesome God who loves them so much that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. This is the message to a world in need of the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ and God is calling for a peculiar treasure, a peculiar people, a kingdom of priests, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a chosen generation, called out of darkness into His marvelous light to be His witnesses.
