Merry Christmas and a blessed 2023 New Year CCC Partners as we close out yet another chapter. In the message today I will be sharing with you the theme for 2023 as well as celebrating the birth of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus was who the schoolmaster, the
law, pointed to. The burnt offering, peace offering, meal offering, the scapegoat offering, sin offering, trespass offering, the Ark of the Covenant, the priesthood, the Tabernacle of Moses, all pointed to Christ. The birth of Christ ushered in a new age, the age of the Church. The gospel had been preached to the Jews but not being mixed with faith did not profit them, Heb. 4:1-3 (KJV): 1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. 3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the
foundation of the world. After the message of Christ was preached, God raised up a man named Peter to go to the Gentiles, Acts 9, 10. It had been prophesied in Isa. 11:10 (KJV) that Christ, the root of Jesse, would be who the Gentiles would seek after to find that rest of God.
Isaiah 11:10 (KJV): 10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. That day has come and that day is now. This is the age of the Church, and the age of the Holy Spirit, since the Holy Spirit is our Helper, Comforter, Strengthener, Counselor, Intercessor, Advocate, and our Standby, in the earth. CCC’s theme for 2023 is: “It’s Our Time, The Age of the Church. Our theme scripture is Acts 15:13-17 (KJV). We will have CCC’s annual 21 Day Consecration
with each Monday night being a night of prayer from 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. I will be providing a guide to fasting as I always do to encourage parishioners of CCC in the things that God have given me for the New Year of 2023.
