As we bring to a close another chapter in all of our lives, we now can look forward to our next chapter that God has in His plans and purposes for each and every one of us. 2022 didn’t wait on any of us. It seems like only a few days ago we were talking about the end of 2021 going into 2022. I believe that God has so much in store for all of our futures and we all will have some connection with the plans and purposes of God for each another. You see, I am convinced that this is the age of the Church, and the age of the Holy Spirit. God is revealing Himself in ways that let us know it’s Him that’s doing the work. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is guiding the Church just like He always has throughout the Old and New Testaments and for those who were sensitive to the things of God, were always able to sense in the spirit what the will of God was. Great things are ahead for them that believe. It’s our time as the Church, the body of Christ, for such a time as this, to make a difference all to the glory of God. As we will share in the message today, we’ve been equipped with all of the necessary tools to do what God have called us to. He has called us to be His witnesses, to preach the gospel, and to be a light to the world. This is the greatest hour and opportunity of the Church because God said so, Acts 2:14-18. The awesomeness of it all is that God is revealing to His people those things in the mind of God reserved just for this age. The Holy Spirit will reveal to the Church of Jesus Christ the plans of God as is necessary for our generation. That doesn’t mean we stop praying, studying the Word, praising God, nor any of the things that we have done as worshippers up to this point, but should, if anything, increase our awareness of these things as we seek the Lord and remember what James revealed to us in James 4:8 (KJV): Draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you. Now, more than ever, is the time to draw nigh to God and not get caught up in the spirit of this age. Don’t miss out on the blessings that God is about to rain down on His people. It's our time now saints of God. It’s our time, the age of the Church.
