Luke 2:49 (KJV): 49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? I sympathize with Joseph and Mary for their concern about the young Jesus. It’s what any good parent would do, but even at the age of 12, Jesus was focused on the business of the kingdom. The pandemic had an unwelcomed effect on the Church as well as businesses, governments, schools, etc. Now we’re passed the worst of it, though Covid has become another virus that we’re forced to reckon with. CCC has been blessed to have come through that ordeal and learned from it and now it’s time that we, and the rest of the world, be as the young Jesus was and be about our Father’s business, the business of establishing His kingdom in the earth. Daniel 2:44 (KJV): 44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Revelation 11:15 (KJV): 15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. We’re closer than we’ve ever been to these events, yet even many Christians live like the Bible’s not true and we’re going to continue on in this life just like what we are doing. Actually, that’s one of the signs of the end times. Luke 17:26-29 (KJV): 26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
