I pray everyone enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving Day celebration with family and friends. My family and I had a great time as several family members were home for the holidays and of course we had awesome family time together and great food. Thank God that we are blessed to live in the greatest country in the world and though it has it’s flaws it was built on Christian values. Those values are being threatened more and more each day. One of the things that I’m thankful for is the strong Christian foundation instilled in me by my parents and all those whom the Lord put in my path that were part of that process. I’m thankful that God’s revelation of truth has been a part of my life all of my life. Now all that the Word of God teaches is being challenged. Even the validity of God’s revelation has come under scrutiny so that men may doubt the Word of God. His Word teaches that doubt is the enemy of faith. If the enemy can convince men to doubt God’s Word then men will doubt God’s truth. Without God’s truth, the revelation of His will, what do men have to say what’s right and what’s wrong? Nothing! What would convict the murderer that he should not kill? Besides the Word of God, what teaches men what immorality is? Or that stealing from another is wrong? The list could go on and on with my point being that if we think this world is a mess now, what would it be without God’s truth? That’s the kind of world that the end times will resemble because many will not receive the truth. “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness,” 2 Thess. 2:9-12 (KJV).
