Today marks the 16 th . year that First Lady and I have celebrated with the Calvary Christian Center Church family as the leaders of this congregation of Believers. First Lady and I are always humbled by the love demonstrated by those who support and pray for us and our ministry. You are angels of the Lord to us. We have and always will serve in excellence and integrity. That also is our heart for CCC as well. That God be glorified when men see our good works, our faith in action. Our prayer also is that the parishioners of this ministry grow spiritually in the understanding of what the will of the Lord is and then to walk in the victory of that revelation. That we truly would be the light of the world, the salt of the earth and a city on a hill. To give light to men in a world of darkness. That our existence would give men the opportunity to at least hear the gospel of the message of Jesus Christ and then they can choose for themselves whether for or against that message. Their decision is between them and the good Master. We, the Church, are the incubators of the greatest story ever told. Our mission is to get that story to the ears of the lost. The devil’s mission is to kill us and stop that message from ever getting to many. So even as we celebrate and give thanks today we dare not take our focus off of the mission at hand. “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover,” Mk. 16:15-18 (KJV). Sandra and I celebrate Christ and His love demonstrated to lost man. Again, we thank everyone who love and support us and for your love sown into our lives as we seek to obey our God in the mission before us. Amen.
