Thank you to the ministry of Pastor Mark Jackson for accepting the assignment today to come and share with us during CCC’s 131 st . Church anniversary. Calvary welcomes Pastor Mark Jackson and his Church family, and I personally thank God for his ministry for such a time as this in the kingdom. We also welcome family and friends who have chose to come and worship with us during this awesome and blessed celebration. During 2018 our theme has been “2018, The Year Of Restoration,” Joel 2:25-27 (KJV) which reads as follows: “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.” This has already been the testimony of several of the parishioners of our ministry including First Lady and myself. God have shown Himself strong in many areas of our lives including watching Him bless all of our children over and above and beyond what we could ever ask or think. We’ve already received testimony from others in CCC of what the Lord have done and we still have 3 months left in 2018. But there’s another aspect of the restoration process that I’m believing God for of which I have been ministering on the past several Bible studies and in our past Sunday worship service, and that is that the most powerful force in the earth and the universe once again find priority in the lives of those who claim Christ as their Lord & Savior. That force is love. And to be even more specific, agape love. That love that comes from a personal relationship with God. That redemptive, creative, goodwill toward all people. That’s the love that transforms lives. Keep the Vision Alive!
In His Service,
Pastor Jeffery A. Muchison
