I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who put their hands to the plow for CCC’s 132 nd . Church anniversary on last Sunday. As always our guests were pleasantly surprised at the excellence and integrity of the entire service. My thanks also to Pastor Carl Brown and the Mt. Olive Baptist Church family. Pastor Brown shared a powerful word “No Time For Fainting.” He drew an analogy between the eagle and the Believer from a dream that he said God gave him for CCC. The word was relevant and unique for such a time as this as we endeavor to encourage the parishioners of CCC to Keep the Vision Alive! The vision will not come without much opposition. We as a people must focus on what God have placed into our hands and see the vision come to pass. As suggested by Pastor Brown’s title the vision is not for the faint at heart. The vision is for those whom are willing to sacrifice and bring the vision to pass. As we will share in the message today, the greater the vision the greater the opposition. The way we overcome the opposition is through faith in our God and relying on His strength to help us. This is not the time to faint. Staying focused on the vision, having faith in God, and relying on His divine strength is how we do not faint. There are lives that need to hear the message of Christ. We may just be the only light that they may have and if that be the case then I want them to see the greatest light possible that will encourage them to Christ. Keep the Vision Alive!
In His Service,
Pastor Jeffery A. Muchison
