I pray everyone’s taking care of yourselves and not allowing COVID-19 to dictate your time. I’m a reader myself therefore I’ve found more time to read up on some interesting subjects that grab my attention. I’m enjoying being able to spend more time with my wife and having those powerful conversations that we as couples need to be having. We both have taken the time to focus on our home with remodeling, painting, taking out the old, and putting in the new. There’s much that we can do with family, at home in our private time as well as constructive projects that maybe you didn’t have time for until now. Spending more time in His Presence, in prayer, and the Word is another choice for those of us hungry and thirsty after the things of God. If you’re the type that enjoys helping others then by all means reach out in the community to those who could benefit from your help. Even for those essential workers, for them, they must put forth the extra effort to make sure they’re taking care of themselves until prayerfully we get this pandemic behind us. Lately with the racial climate, protests, clashings, uprisings, unnecessary deaths, etc., there has been a tremendous escalation in community activities, groups coming together organizing to fight what they consider injustices in their respective communities. The only thing I would caution concerning these different groups is that you need to do your do-diligence with these groups because many are in it for themselves and for personal gain. First Lady and I toured a non-profit organization this week that are building tiny houses for the homeless of which we’ve been involved. Whatever you’re doing to occupy your time remain strong and stay positive.
