This past year has been tough on so many people during the pandemic and all of the fallout from it, especially the physical suffering that has resulted from COVID-19. Of course, politics haven’t helped things at all. The fall-out from the pandemic has far-reaching tentacles, affecting the medical community, businesses, jobs, our way of life, schools, law enforcement, sports, and you name it. The list goes on and on not to mention how it has affected individual families who have been touched by this virus. It has even affected the Church because many Christians have played to the politics and not the kingdom. The problem, in my humble opinion, could have been minimized had the right decisions been made in the embryo stage of this situation but it wasn’t, and as the old folks use to say, “That’s water under the bridge now.” I want to encourage everyone on moving forward. I think that there’s enough information out there by now that everyone has probably made up their mind concerning how they view taking the vaccine. I personally believe that outside of God, vaccinations are the best thing going to help our communities dig ourselves out of this hole. I’ve personally been to enough funeral services within the black community, as well as in all communities. I’ve been approached by several non-profits who are banding together and setting up vaccination clinics at Churches, businesses, other non-profits, etc., to do everything possible to make getting the vaccination for COVID-19 more easily accessible. It won’t require anything from the Church except to use the property to access an electrical outlet. I am presently gathering information from these non-profits, of which many of them I have personally worked with and know personally, to make this happen in north Camden county and be part of the answer to a real challenging issue across this country so stay tuned and we will be communicating more information soon.
