“Everything is going down but the Word of God” is a popular saying in Christendom but it’s simply implying that only what’s in God will endure. Everything else is sinking sand. Spiritually minded people are in tune with things eternal and not on the things on this earth. There’s a scripture in the book of Revelation that speaks to the rapture but it, in its own peculiar way, speaks to Believers today. “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter ,” Revelation 4:1 (KJV). “ Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter ,” is a statement that in my mind is what I see Father God wanting all of His children to do. I’m not referring to the rapture but in the invitation to the people of God to elevate their minds, their spirits, to the mind of God. When I say the mind of God I’m speaking to that place of enlightenment to the plans and purposes of God for our lives. I see in so many scriptures that He is inviting His people to come up higher spiritually, mentally, as well as physically . “ The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, “ Ephesians 1:18 (KJV). This is where He wants His people, enlightened to the truth of His Word receiving His love. The love of God is greater than all and when we receive that love revealed to us through His Word by faith, then it will change our hearts and minds forever. He shows us through His Word that He is our Peace, Protector, Righteousness, Salvation, Help, Provider, Healer, Strengthener, Guide, Nourisher, Upholder, our Lord & Savior. His Word is speaking to us today to come up to the high place where the eagles fly, where the lions rest in Him, and where the wicked cease from troubling. Come up to the high place.
