A blessed New Year to CCC Partners and to all of our neighbors and friends. The winds of change continue to be all over the place as we cross the threshold of another year. I’m going to share some news with everyone concerning the new year and some changes as we continue monitoring our situation here at CCC. As we have continued to prepare for the re-opening of worship services, and of course monitoring the status of COVID-19 in our area, we are having to delay the opening of worship services presently since we have discovered a resurgence of mold in the main sanctuary. The mold that we have discovered is not nearly as bad as it was earlier in the year but it will require re-cleaning and treatment of our sanctuary. In order that we be more pro-active, we’re also installing dehumidifiers to help control the moisture as well as looking into some structural issues in the Church building itself to be pro-active concerning any issues structurally that may be contributing to our mold issue. We’ve also been aware of the increase of infections in our area therefore we see it as an opportunity to address the mold issue while giving our ministry more time to watch this uptick in infections that have increased practically all over the country. We’re still planning on returning to live worship services but not until we are certain that the sanctuary is absolutely ready for parishioners to return safely to the worship experience. I continue to believe that we can return to live worship services as long as everyone follows CCC’s COVID-19 protocol based on guidelines from the CDC and the Coastal Health District which includes the Camden and Glynn County area. We’re not going to have the live prayer tomorrow, Monday, 1-3-22, as planned due to the issues just explained, but we will have prayer virtually this Wednesday, 1-5-22, from 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. via Zoom. I will be including the connecting information in the announcements below. We are continuing with our 21 Day Consecration from January 1, 2022, thru January 21, 2022, with the theme: 2022, The Year of Divine Shifting and Rearranging to the Order of God.
