The Lord reassures His people time and time again that He watches over us. He promises that He hears the prayers of the saints, 1 Pet. 3:12 (KJV): 12
For the eyes of the Lord are
over the righteous, and his ears are open
unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is
against them that do evil.
Our God is an awesome God. He has already gone ahead of us and prepared the way for His saints. He gives us precious promises daily, benefits daily, His blessings showering down upon His people daily. There is no failure in Him, but in Him the rivers of life flow. In Him we live and move and have our being. Staying connected is the key for the people of God. According to Jn. 15:4, 5 (KJV),
whatever is in the vine is in the branches, and if we are to survive spiritually then we must stay connected to the vine . 4
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5
I am the vine, ye are
the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
And in v. 7 says :
7
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Again, staying connected to Him is the key. Daily studying God’s Word, meditation and prayer, obeying His Word, assembling ourselves together in fellowship, positive confession according to scripture, and keeping our minds stayed on Him, are all part of abiding in Him. More than anything though, is that personal relationship with the Lord. That time in His Presence is more precious than material wealth and is the greatest miracle. In His Presence is the fullness of joy. The refreshing comes from the Presence of the Lord. His people are safe in His arms. We should all receive consolation to know that the God who is omnipotent, omniscient, & omnipresent, cares about us enough to have died for our sins, giving His life that we might have life and have it more abundantly. We are blessed beyond measure and out of that realization there should be a praise on our lips that He’s worthy of all the praise, all the glory, and all of the honor. Amen!
