Throughout the history of the Church God has shown Himself strong on behalf of them that love the Lord and who are the called according to His purposes. As David said in Ps. 23:4 (KJV): 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. As long as He is with us, all is well, even though it may not feel well, it may not look well, it may not sound well, it may not be anything like what we consider well, but the thing that matters in the kingdom is what God says is well. As long as God is with us it means that His plans and purposes for our lives is being realized. There are many questions that we may have about why we must go through certain things in our lives, questions that we will probably never get answers for on this side of eternity. Good people sometimes go through bad things that we wonder why, and again, some of these things we will never get answers for in this life. This is where we have a huge challenge as people of God. You see, we want to have an answer for everything, and we don’t. At least, I don’t. I have many questions for the Lord when I finally see Him face to face. Those things that He has revealed is for us, and those things that He have not revealed are not, at least for now. One thing is for sure, I personally, want the Lord to be with me. Like David, as long as I have the Lord on my side, I’ll handle everything else. Eternity is more my concern than the temporal. He is my everything, my all and all, my Peace, my Salvation, my Hope, Life, Comforter, Joy, and everything I need. There’s nobody like Him. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid, Psalm 27:1 (KJV).

Scripture for Sunday, 10-23-22
Psalm 27:4 (KJV)
4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
Announcements for Sunday, 10-23-22
1. CCC will be having Sunday worship services every Sunday moving forward unless otherwise announced. Bible studies will continue to be announced weekly. There will be no Bible study the week of 10-24-22, but we will upload the video for the Bible study. CCC will not have Bible study the week of 10-31-22 due to the youth leaders planning to take CCC youth to Pizza Inn for food, games, & fun. Parents can either bring their youth to Pizza Inn or let Sis. Sarah Williams know to pick them up in the Church van and she will pick them up. CCC will cover all expenses. This will be part of our re-opening of our youth services at CCC. Parents, please coordinate with Sis. Vickie and Sis. Sarah so that they can plan accordingly as to how many youth will attend.
2. We’re continuing to monitor COVID-19 in our area and until further notice we will continue CCC’s present COVID-19 protocol. I will update CCC Partners accordingly.
