We lose our true identity when we exclude God out of the equations of our lives. Apart from Him we are nothing, but with God, all things are possible to them that believe. The Father sees His people in Christ, in power and authority, and in the victory that Christ achieved during His earthly pilgrimage, victory over death, hell, and the grave. For Christians it translates to our minds being renewed to the mind of Christ. What was the mind of Christ? The mind of Christ was to do the will of the Father, John 5:30 (KJV): 30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. Jesus also said that this should be the mind of the people of God, Matthew 12:50 (KJV): 50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. The heart of the people of God, first and foremost, should be to do the will of the Father as well. This is the will of God. Man was put on this planet to please Him, Revelation 4:11 (KJV): 11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. The safest place in this whole wide world is in the will of God. I know sometimes it doesn’t seem like it, but we don’t walk by what it seems like, we walk by faith. Sometimes we don’t feel like it’s the safest place in the world, but we don’t walk by how we feel, but by the Word of God. Sometimes it does not look like it’s the safest place in the world, but we don’t walk by how things look, but we walk by faith and not by sight, or our senses, emotions, feelings, by how things look, smell, taste, or sound. This is the will of God for you and I.
