Sometimes I wonder what goes through the mind of our awesome, loving God as He sees every evil wicked thing that goes on every second of every day. He sees every murder, every abortion, every act of incest, every rape, every war, every child killed, every hate crime, every wrong jailing, every kidnapping, every sexual abuse, every political manipulation and abuse, all sexual trafficking, drug abuse, death, and I could type for days all the wrong. Of course there’s a lot of good that goes on, probably much more than the evil, souls coming into a saving knowledge, getting filled with the Holy Spirit, those being set free and delivered, beautiful families training up their children, lives being restored, men doing great things at the leading of the Spirit, babies born, couples getting married, seeing His children walking in the blessings, and much much more great things that are going on in the earth. We are made in the image of God, and we have very much the same emotional feelings that God has, and we would be so grieved in our hearts at the evil perpetrated by men. The little that we do know and see is enough to make our hearts heavy. The love of many have waxed cold. Even the best of us come short of His glory. God saw through all of that ugliness though and His love compelled Him to compassion for the man He created and to become the Lamb of God who would sacrifice His natural life for the sin of the world that men might partake of the tree of life. His love is passed understanding. His mercy endureth to all generations. That includes ours. In The end we all must conclude that we’re all in need of a savior, and that Savior He is, as the psalmist wrote:
2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower, Psalm 18:2 (KJV).
