First of all, let me say that the celebration of life service for Bro. Ronnie was off-the-chain. A shout out of thanks to everyone who put their hands to the plow to make the service a great success. Our hearts and prayers continue to go out to the family of Bro. Ronnie who obviously touched many lives and will be tremendously missed though we know he’s in Heaven now, no suffering, no dialysis, no effects of a stroke, heart issues, amputations, no worries about a kidney transplant, but in his spirit body which will soon be reunited with a glorified body that will not have any of those kind of blemishes, the blessing of being in covenant relationship with the only wise and true God. What a wonderful man of God. Prayerfully the service met the expectations of the family. Mr. Martin and his team, as usual, did a fantastic job and are to be commended. Be encouraged family & saints and you already know why I say this, not that we won’t miss Bro. Ronnie’s kind and humble spirit, but because we will be together again in all eternity. We not only enjoy this present life but we prepare for the life to come. What will not follow us into eternity are the ills of this life, death, sickness, poverty, war, crime, hatred, and such like. Think of it this way, what is the few years of this life compared to eternity? James 4:14 (KJV): 14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. Psalm 90:10 (KJV): 10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. With these Scriptures in mind, priority for all men must be eternity, of course enjoying our faith journey on earth, but keeping our priorities right. Thank God, my brother in Christ, Bro. Ronnie, kept his priorities right. To God be the glory!
