Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers during this time of celebrating you. I pray every mother enjoy a glorious day in the Lord with your families. We celebrate you. We honor you today as the gateway of life and the nurturer of men. A mother’s touch has soothed many
hurting hearts and encouraged others. She has been the spark of great leaders and the gamechanger for many destinies. Mothers command the power and influence over many people who see her as a bulwark, strong, intelligent, yet also having a gentile and tender heart full of compassion. We all are blessed to have mothers who love us unconditionally, that instill in us those character traits that set us up for success. Sometimes invoking tough love because they would rather see us angry for a season than to allow us to make serious mistakes that will cost us for years to come. How many in prison today would say that they would not be in the mess that they’re in if they had listened to mama. When I think of our mothers, I see the love of God demonstrated through them. God’s love in action since He gives mothers this instinct to love with a mother’s love that won’t quit. She will be there for her family through thick and thin, good and bad, to weather whatever to ensure that they are well. Just the thought of our mothers has the potential to cause us to change a decision that we were about to make because her influence on us makes us want to do the right thing and not do anything that would disappoint or bring shame. How blessed are we to have mothers who love God and have our best interest at heart. Who only wants to see good in our lives and not evil. Who always has time to listen and show compassion for whatever we may be going through, and to give her advice of love and understanding. Mama can always be dependent upon to be in your corner even when you’re the one who made the mistake, but she will not abandon you but help nurture you back to wholeness. In all of a mother’s love I see God and thank God for giving us
mothers after His own heart. Have a blessed Mother’s Day celebration.
