The message that I will be sharing with the people of God today is a message that encouraged my heart to the utmost. Anyone who are or have been in a leadership role whether in the kingdom of God or secular arena, know those feelings of inadequacy that comes over us that can be quite overwhelming at times. I believe that’s normal for most of us. In our text today we find the man Moses coming down off of Mt. Sinai with the 2 nd . set of Ten Commandments but as he’s coming down off of the mount his face glowed so to the point that the people saw a tangible outward appearance on the face of Moses. Moses was coming down off of the 2 nd . 40 days and 40 nights of fasting before God and it showed. Moses was anointed and the glory of God showed on his countenance. God’s anointing on our lives makes all of the difference as it relates to accomplishing His will in the earth. Zerubbabel faced opposition in the rebuilding of
the temple, but God encouraged Zerubbabel that it’s not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit saith the Lord. God let Zerubbabel, and you and I as well, know that it’s not our abilities that He wants, but our availability. The work that God said that He would do will get done
whether we cooperate with God or not. If we don’t want to do His will then He’ll find someone who will. Regardless of how bad our present situations may look but just like God said He would give Zerubbabel the grace to complete his work, He will give us the grace today to finish our course. Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit saith the Lord. God already knows what the ends going to be. That’s why He does what it takes to get our attention and focus on His Word and off of the circumstances in our lives. It may look like the house is on fire and burning down but God is still in control and He will bring to pass the good things that He thinks of us therefore when the enemy is coming at you with everything that he can throw at you then lift up your hands, open up your mouth and give God the glory because evidently it’s promotion time. Hallelujah!
