A great big “God bless you” to everyone who helped in the renovation project over the past several weeks in the main sanctuary. You all made it seem so easy and it only goes to prove that when the people of God get together with a mind to work, nothing can be withheld from them. With such short notice there were a lot of moving parts behind the scene that were crucial in planning so that everything could flow and flow it did. The Building Committee kept the contractors and Brunswick Floors on track, and the men of the ministry moved all of the furniture accordingly while the P. A. System & Sound Team took care of all of the sensitive equipment during that process. Our Minister of Music took care of moving keyboards, cords, and necessary equipment, while the ladies cleaned up at the final stage of the project. A special thanks to Embassy Suites who gave us a super deal on the rental of the Palmetto room where we were able to have alternative worship services during the renovations. I’m so proud of the Praise Team, Deacons, and Ushers for making the necessary adjustments to facilitate the worship services during that time. Of course, “hats off” to all of our Partners of CCC for your faithfulness during this time as well. Everyone may now benefit from the renovation of all the bathrooms, the floor in the main sanctuary, as well as the replacing and installation of brand spanking new carpet in the main sanctuary. Job well done CCC, and long overdue. Give yourselves a pat on the back and enjoy the fruit of your labor but lets not go into our comfort zones just yet. We still have a lot of work to do. There are still areas in the ministry that have yet to recover from the pandemic such as our youth program that I know we can pull that program back together with the help of the Lord. Great job CCC!
