As we continue to restore worship services and ministries within the ministry since the pandemic, I am excited to see our Children’s Church being restored because as I said in last Sunday’s Pastor’s Pen, practically every Sunday the youth were asking me about those services and when would we be able to have them again. The youth leaders, as well, were excited to be able to, once again, provide the young people the creative time, and space, to experience God in their own way, and I saw the fulfillment that that brought to the hearts of CCC’s youth leaders, so it’s a two-way street where not only are the young people being blessed, but for the youth leaders, there’s that fulfillment that comes with serving our youth in that capacity. As I will continue to say, there’s no more fulfillment than to serve. Serving brings fulfillment to the ones serving. It is a tremendous ministry to the ones being served as well as a spiritual arm of the Church to the families who have little ones who need spiritual nourishment, and other families who visit the ministry who want to know that there is ministry set up in the Church for their children, young people, and teens. That’s why I’m so excited about the Children’s Church, but also as we continue to see our ministries being restored, and the ministry of helps being visible in the Church to help bring these endeavors to pass. I applaud all of our Partners of CCC who put their hands to the plow to help make ministry possible in our Church. We need those whom God lays on their hearts to help in whatever part of ministry that the Lord may lead them into. As I said in last Sunday’s message, the greatest fulfillment in this life is to be able to give hope to others like the great leaders of years past such as John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Nelson Mandela, and Mother Teresa, without whom this world would not be what it is today.
