Don’t be moved by the challenges that you face on a daily basis in this life, but be confident in this one thing, Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV): 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. God wants
good things for you even if others do not have your best interest at heart. Know that every day He gives you. Remind yourself that God is for me. He gave His Son that I might have life and have it more abundantly. Tragedies, disappointments, rejection, failures, mistakes, adversities, and the like can have a sobering effect on us. If we’re not anchored in the Lord, they can also influence us in doubt and unbelief as to where God is in our lives. Christians have the tendency to think that because we’re the children of God we won’t have adversity in our lives, but to the contrary, because we’re children of God we should expect what the scripture says about those who will live godly in Christ revealed in 2 Timothy 3:12 (KJV): 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Christians will experience the same things as everyone else except the difference is that we have God with us and if God be for you who can be against you, Romans 8:31-32 (KJV): 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? I’m reminded of what the Lord spoke to Joshua after the death of Moses, Joshua 1:5 (KJV): 5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. God will not fail us. There is no failure in Him. Whatever is lacking in our lives then we must look to ourselves as to why, but with Him all things are possible to them that believe. God would have you and I to prosper, and our families, therefore be of good courage, for the Lord our God is with us, Joshua 1:9 (KJV): 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
