The judgment of God is not a very popular subject these days but just because we ignore a particular subject of the Word does not make the subject disappear. It should cause us to heed 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV): 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. The revelation of Hell was not designed for man, but for the devil and his angels who were persuaded to rebel against the God of our salvation, Matthew 25:41 (KJV) : 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. Because some men rebel against God the lake of fire will be their final destination as well, and for all that rebel against Him. The revelation of Hell should be a motivation to the people of God, not because we’re in fear of going there, but because we care about others we don’t want to go there. For all in our sphere of influence we should be a light pointing them to Jesus. The salvation of souls ought to be a powerful persuasion to the body of Christ understanding the revelation of eternal judgment. If it’s not the will of our God that any should perish, then that is also the will of His
people. The heart of the Christian is that of compassion for his fellowman. There are family members who are not saved, co-workers, neighbors, friends, etc., that need a savior. Mindful every Christian must be aware of his or her influence upon those around them. Our witness is a tool that God uses to draw men unto Him. The message of Christ to all men is paramount to God’s plan for man to be reconciled back to Him that men would enjoy the God consciousness that Adam enjoyed in the Garden of Eden. It was only after he and Eve sinned that they became sin conscious and ashamed before God, and they hid from Him. God’s heart is only for the good of mankind and therefore the consequences of sin are only because of man’s refusal to accept the love of God through His Son Jesus Christ. It’s not God’s will that any should perish.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
