“Thank you” is in order to the guest speakers of Total Man Conference 2018. Elder Evelyn Blaine, Pastor Roy Lane, and Pastor C. D. Roberts all delivered a relevant, on point, and powerful message each night of the conference that was confirmation after confirmation on the teachings of restoration that have been brought forth in this vineyard in 2018, “The Year of Restoration.” “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed,” Joel 2:25, 26 (KJV). Each message was consistent with the message of restoration. Of course in reality the entire Bible is a message of restoration from the God of creation to the man He formed from the dust of the ground. Elder Blaine’s message titled “Do You Have The Right Stuff” include 3 things necessary to having the right stuff. 1. Follow instructions, 2. Have the right ingredients, and 3. Increase your capacity. I especially liked the verse she used in Eph. 3:16 (KJV): “That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.” Pastor Roy Lane ministered on restoration, Joel 2:23-27. Restoration meaning to bring back to former condition. In order for restoration to take place we’ve got to go back to the original blueprint. Restoration means restoring back to the original foundation. If the foundation is bad then whatever is being built on it is bad and the higher you build the worst the problem. For Christians this bad foundation could be unforgiveness, hatred, lying, unrepentant, etc. Restoration for the Church begins with repentance. Then Pastor C. D. Roberts message “Excuse Me, I Have a Habit” confronted the habits that we as Christians allow to fester in our lives such as gossiping, being loud in a crowd, criticizing, etc. Believers cannot let habits mess them up such as going back to the familiar and what is comfortable for us. Awesome TMC2018!
