Trusting in the Lord for the Believer is the cornerstone of our faith. It’s more than a superficial, skin deep trust that’s not just strong on the mountaintop but also strong in the valleys of our faith walk. Even when we are going through turbulent times, even when shaken in our faith, even when we don’t understand ourselves, our trust and faith in Him is rock solid. This kind of trust is a trust that’s deeply embedded in the psyche of the child of God in that in all his or her ways they acknowledge, advise, answer, appoint, assuredly, be aware, awares, can, certainly, for a certainty, comprehend, consider, could they, cunning, declare, be diligent, can, cause to, discern, discover, endued with, familiar friend, famous, feel, can have, be, instruct, kinsfolk, kinsman, cause to, let, make, know, come to give, have, take, knowledge, have knowledge, (be, make, make to be, make self) known, be learned, lie by man, mark, perceive, privy to, prognosticator, regard, have respect, skillful, shew, can, skill, be sure, of a surety, teach, tell, understand, have understanding (definition of the word acknowledge derived from the Key Word Hebrew Greek study Bible, NASB) Him or in every situation the Believer rests in the truth that they are still a child of God and He’s still Lord. The Believer is rooted and grounded in his faith no matter what happens and in that state of mind is at peace with his Maker. The Bible declares that the just shall live by hisfaith, Hab. 2:4; Rom. 1:17. To live by faith means that I trust in my God and in His Word and in all that I do I am aware of His Presence. I consider Him and His will for my life. I acknowledge His lordship over my life and upon that confession I base all of my actions. Jesus is Lord!
