It’s our time! This is the hour of the Church, the kingdom of God, and for the mission of the Church for such a time as this. The time is now for the anointed of God to be about our Father’s business and as the Lord revealed in Isaiah 61:1-3 (KJV): 1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. The Spirit of the Lord is with His people to preach the gospel, heal, set free and deliver. Jesus was anointed to set the captives free, Acts 10:38 (KJV): 38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Immanuel means “God with us.” God is with them that obey Him. As we do what He have given us to do we’ll see the glory of the Lord revealed in this hour. I pray that we as a people would be ever so sensitive to the Holy Spirit as He leads us and guides us into all good works, and many are beneficial of the fruit of our labor. There’s no greater blessing than to see lives changed by the message of Christ, to see the hurting receive of the Lord the refreshing that comes from the presence of the Lord, the sick being healed, the brokenhearted restored by the power of God, and the receiving of sight to the blind. People need the Lord, and the Lord is our hope and the answer that the Church preaches to the masses. I pray the blessings of God continue to flow through His body the Church in these last days.
