The subject of faith is one brought up often because without it we cannot please God. Faith is the way that God so deemed that His people would access His grace according to Rom. 5:1. The just, or righteous, justified ones, shall live by their faith. Faith is the way things are done in the kingdom and is a challenge to them who walk by their five senses. That’s why it is such a challenge for the world to accept spiritual things. If the world can’t figure God out, explain Him through science, and by the things that are temporal, then they reject the revelation of God. There are many things that man cannot explain, but that does not make it not true, for instance, who can explain much of everyday life that we take for granted? The Bible reveals that the invisible Godhead can be realized by the things that are seen. We see it in the caterpillar turning into a butterfly, the eco-systems of the world, the order of creation, and in the human body. God’s love is seen all around us. The Bible is the revelation of the God of creation and His love through the person of His Son Jesus Christ. Faith in Him brings salvation, peace, joy, and everything good into our lives. Jesus said that He came that we might have life and to have it more abundantly. The abundant life is God’s plan for man. He would have the man He created to be blessed in his spirit, soul, and body, 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (KJV): 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The reason faith is such a popular subject is because if you take faith out of the picture then you have nothing, not love, holiness, salvation, the Holy Spirit, angels, nothing, because you first have to believe what He reveals to us, Ephesians 1:17-18 (KJV): 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
