As our country celebrates Independence Day, I can think of much we can be thankful for. This country has been tremendously blessed by God. There’s also need for much prayer for the state of affairs that this country finds itself in. I’m not being ungrateful. I’m seeing God more and more pushed out of our government, our schools, and our homes. This is the greatest country on the earth. What concerns me is that morally we’re not advancing as we are technologically. Of course, prophecy have already foretold these things, but the people of God have God on their side and with God all things are possible, even in these times. It’s a time to be thankful for sure. I’m thankful for the blessings of God on my life and the lives of my family. He’s brought us through every storm without fail. Some I created on my own but still, He brought me through. For that I’m thankful. He supplied all my needs and the needs of my loved ones. Truly I’m grateful. I’m thankful for Independence Day spiritually when the Lord found me and saved me and delivered me from the hands of the enemy. That was made
available to us all because of the Judaeo Christian heritage that this country was built on. There are good people in this country who have good hearts and have goodwill towards all men. Bad people take away from the good that good people do, which is why the good people must never give in to the bad things that go on around them. The bad people are not quitting. Why should we give in to the evil in this world when we have the truth of God’s Word? We have the kingdom backing us up. We have angels on our side. We have God on our side, and we have the prayers of the saints. Lord, I thank you.
